About the Project:
2Discern’s mission statement as a company is to partner with small to medium-sized businesses and progressive, forward-looking leaders on some of their toughest challenges. They break through walls and build bridges to unleash human potential and drive innovation and the type of decision-making that leads to effective cultures and lasting business impact. However, there was a digital divide between the individuals who needed help finding their true selves before looking for that purposeful job. Rick and Margie called upon me to help them make engaging instructional videos to keep a positive inspirational tone to the course. Also, I was at this huge crossroads in my life and I was the demographic they were looking to help test and take the course.

Information: The project I was involved with was producing, testing, and assisting in the instructional designing of the “Seek You” courses that help people center themselves in a hectic job market.

Video Editing
Film and edit all of the instructional videos to industry standards and to their specific needs.

Design all of the slides and video slides to their brand and vision for the course.

Testing every module to help their lessons achieve learning and that the learner walks away with their central message.
Video Editing:
During the production phase, I meticulously orchestrated the setup, including lighting, teleprompter arrangement, lavalier microphone placement, and camera configuration to capture seamless monologues between course segments. Additionally, I guided speakers on their delivery style, ensuring optimal engagement with the intended audience.
Afterward, I meticulously edited each module, maintaining brand consistency and attention to detail to deliver polished, coherent videos. This involved refining transitions, enhancing visual clarity, and ensuring a seamless viewing experience for learners.
Graphics:
Collaborating closely with the client's branding elements including logos, fonts, and color schemes, I crafted visually engaging graphics to complement the course content. These graphics served to both illustrate key concepts within the course and introduce each video segment. Utilizing Canva, I ensured alignment with the client's established visual identity across their website and social media platforms, maintaining consistency and enhancing overall brand cohesion.
Testing:
I conducted comprehensive testing of the course materials, providing valuable feedback to refine and optimize the learning experience. By immersing myself in the role of the learner, I experienced the course content, enabling me to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with the intended learning outcomes. This hands-on approach allowed me to empathize with learners and tailor the course to effectively enhance their capabilities and foster professional development.
